I think i could be in trouble. I just made these. Probably the best cookie ever imo. So i made your cowboy cookies aaaand your hot rolls aaaaaand your chicken and dumplings ALL today. Every recipe was spot on. Love love love! Btw...my husband could eat more than one. 😉

Haven't had these in years.... Add some dried cranberries.... or some toffee pieces. We call em Kitchen sink Cookies... Made in a clean dishpan to hold it all. Move over tomato gravy and we'll have some dessert! Serve hot with some vanilla ice cream lol ... Save the rest for coffee tomorrow morning! For a snazzy touch, use good Watkins vanilla but add a little bit of brandy extract. Very unique taste!!! Blessed be sugar! Thanks for sharing!!!

I love Cowboy cookies. One of my favorite cookies. I do leave out the chocolate chips though since I’m not crazy about chocolate in my cookies. I don’t eat chocolate chip cookies either. I do make them for my husband and son.

I use an ice cream scoop with bale...then hamburger press disc to press down....use sandwich bag on top of cookie....with a little oil on bottom of bag to prevent sticking. Using an ice cream scoop with bale for pralines works great...plus I keep adding hot water from faucet when needed to liquify the cooked. pralines while scooping onto parchment paper.o only ass a little hot water to get right turn out.

Talli Faye you took the words right out of my mouth “pass the milk please”! I have a question if you omit the baking powder and soda could you use self rising flour? I’ve done this before with baking a cake and it came out fine, just not sure about cookies. God bless your grandson wherever he is going, and thank him for his service. Sending 🫶🙏NC

Thank you 😊 ♥️!!!… As far as the self rising flour… I’m more comfortable with it in cakes and biscuits etc… But in my cookies I’ve had better success using the all purpose flour with the Baking powder and baking soda to achieve the perfect texture 😊
