This is the 'pimped version' of the original album, which sounds so depressed. Never had such a morbid record before. I owned it from the release 3 or 4 times, always trying to get 'into it', and - sold it thereafter. Gave it a last try recently - but I give up now, definately. Mainly the neverchanging tempo and M.Timmons' soundless voice are annoying. Like Dylan once sang: 'her sin is her lifelessness' or like Son House: 'black musicians are trying to get out of the blues and white people are trying to get in'.

Most folks change the station when they hear something they don't like. You bought the record 3 or 4 times and came back 30 years later to blame the artist.

Dude, constructive criticism and opinions are always welcome. But, why are you here listening to this version also? Very odd. Maybe you are misguided and deep down have some morbid thoughts. Her voice is beautiful and soulful and haunting and real. My opinion of you is a soul less, fink that probably just want's to stir up crap. I mean who does that and says they had three copies and then couldn't get into it? Nobody that's who. When i hear a song i don't have to play it numerous times. I either dig it or i don't. To compare her to Dylan is odd also. Two totally different people and vibes. Dylan said a lot of things and also stole lyrics and never should have played electric guitar live on stage. I love the guy but he sucks at electric guitar. Anyway, stop hanging on to something that does nothing for you. Cheer up man. MT
