Cowboy Mounted Shooters

Cowboy Mounted Shooting is one of the fastest growing equestrian sports --- and a Westerville couple are one of the nation's best shooters. JD and Karen Hughes both like the adrenaline rush they get while going fast on their horse and having to shoot balloons.

Good shootin Jeff! You know, your father Walt was my mentor! I owe all my musical talent to him! He taught me the basics and because I couldn't afford one of my own, he lent me his guitar, the same one he learned on as a boy. I wished I had that guitar today! There isn't a time when I don't reflect back to those days. I have some wonderful memories of Walt. He had that scare across his head from his bull riding days. He was a cowboy hero to me. I will always love that man! JB
