Almost the exact recipe I use...but instead of flour I used instant oatmeal that I've ground fairly fine. I always make a huge batch and the overage goes in vacuum bags in the freezer. They freeze and thaw REALLY nicely!!

What about almond or coconut flour? Will either one of those work? One of my rescue pups has a wheat allergy.

My first thought watching this was “this is good and I’ll watch it, but I don’t keep wheat flour and creamy PB so I’ll never make these.” But today my pup had her teeth cleaned and found a little gum disease. Also four teeth extracted. Her mouth is gonna be sore awhile and she’s not gave her hard biscuits for a week. Soooo… I’m gonna go shopping and make these in the “soft” version. Perfect timing Kent, for this recipe!

Those look amazing, will try to make some for my pups, using chicken broth (one is allergic to beef). A warning for humans: Make sure your peanut butter is not "sugar-free", many of those contain Xylitol which is deadly for dogs - even in small amounts.

Good to know! I remember one time I bought some sugar free maple syrup since I'm diabetic and need to watch my sugars, well I thought that would be a great option but OMG...I painted the toilet unnatural shades we'll just say. Xylitol seems to have a negative effect on humans too :(

She loved them! And they were made from healthy ingredients she could have. Thanks for doing a doggy biscuit recipe!

I love this video. It couldn’t have come at a better time. We were looking for a rescue dog for my husband who has Aspergers. His dog died a year and a half ago and it was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. My husband has the biggest heart! Anyway, I was looking at rescue dogs and found a Great Pyrenees who had a very traumatic first year in life. We met him and it was an amazing fit. He comes home with us in a few days and I’m so excited to have these healthy yummy 😋 treats as a warm welcome for him to our homestead. My little Buddy was the best thing I EVER had in my life.... He never left my side for 13 1/2 years... He is in heaven now and with my parents who also loved him dearly.... U can do sweet potato puree over pumpkin too. We air fry chicken skins that's defattened and sweet potato skins
