Almost the exact recipe I use...but instead of flour I used instant oatmeal that I've ground fairly fine. I always make a huge batch and the overage goes in vacuum bags in the freezer. They freeze and thaw REALLY nicely!!

What about almond or coconut flour? Will either one of those work? One of my rescue pups has a wheat allergy.

Those look amazing, will try to make some for my pups, using chicken broth (one is allergic to beef). A warning for humans: Make sure your peanut butter is not "sugar-free", many of those contain Xylitol which is deadly for dogs - even in small amounts.

Good to know! I remember one time I bought some sugar free maple syrup since I'm diabetic and need to watch my sugars, well I thought that would be a great option but OMG...I painted the toilet unnatural shades we'll just say. Xylitol seems to have a negative effect on humans too :(

Yep, been hearing that pumpkin is a natural de-wormer. Lucky pups right there. I agree, rescue dogs seem to know that their people wanted to give them a better existence (a life), and seem to appreciate their people more.

Perfect timing! My girls will love these. Just reminding your folks not to use diet peanut butter with xylitol AKA birch sugar. This artificial sweetener can be fatal to dogs.

😍😍😍😍🐶🐶🐶🐶 My Beagle ended up having food allergies to practically everything, so I started making her dog biscuits for her. I used wheat flower, smooth peanut butter, apple sauce, and milk. She loved them! And they were made from healthy ingredients she could have. Thanks for doing a doggy biscuit recipe!

Thank you cowboy Kent 😘. My daughter works for a veterinarian clinic and dog spa 😂. It's really called a boarding resort. We actually have 7 dogs all together and they are all rescue dogs. I'm their Nanny and they really do act like my fur grandbabies. They bring us so much joy. I'm kinda home bound and I would be so lonesome without them. All they want is your love and affection and they give back so much love to me. Please, everyone check out the shelter.

My first thought watching this was “this is good and I’ll watch it, but I don’t keep wheat flour and creamy PB so I’ll never make these.” But today my pup had her teeth cleaned and found a little gum disease. Also four teeth extracted. Her mouth is gonna be sore awhile and she’s not gave her hard biscuits for a week. Soooo… I’m gonna go shopping and make these in the “soft” version. Perfect timing Kent, for this recipe!

I cook every week for my doggos. I boil chicken breast carrots and potatoes sometimes I add peas or a sweet potato or rice. I dice the carrots potatoes and chicken breast. That’s my Yorkie’s and Eskimo’s meal. No commercial bought dog food.

Whenever I’m cooking. Chicken, beef, pork, eggs, veggies, whatever. The dog and cats eat too. Got my salsa and mesquite seasoning last week. Love them both.

I have read that some peanut butters contain Xylitol as an ingredient. It's a big no-no for dogs and can be fatal even in smaller doses. Just wanted to mention so you can check that your goodies will be super safe for your fur-babies.

A local bakery/mill sells an organic dog biscuit mix that you add peanut butter and eggs to. You can add in parsley flakes or fresh cut to help mellow out dog breath. Never thought about the pumpkin. Will have to try that out next batch I make. Not sure about the cinnamon....
