I called the Eagles the 11-0 Steelers after the Cowboys blew them out. People don’t want to talk about it but the Eagles are a much worse team than their record. They were winning games earlier in the season that they had no business winning. Turnovers from the opponents and bad calls from the refs saved Philly in like 4 or 5 games. They are the definition of fraudulent and Bru would be crazy to stick with them.

@@chodysseus420 Hurts has shown a clutch ability and unique ability to close games out. But since the Bills game they fell off. Can't beat teams on talent alone. Tons of videos have shown they lack any sort of fundamental scheme. They run 4 verticals every pass play. Expect Hurts to bail the pocket if there's a blitz. Almost never have hot routes for the blitz. Last year with the same offensive roster he was elite from the pocket (top 3) and against the blitz. Same exact players on offense. They'll be fine if they fire their coach/coordinator. If they don't, Hurts will turn out like Wentz. Already getting bad habits early in his career. Last year he was elite, but its easy for a QB to lose their way under bad coaching. Look what great coaching did for Purdy and Goff. I think Mac Jones would look good on SF.

Initially was really impressed with his level of knowledge and detail/nuance of analysis, but I've grown a bit weary of the "keeping receipts" and I told you so's even though I also completely understand his frustration w/ Wildes and Brou (who borderline seem to take stances primarily to troll Nick). My fave period was the week Nick was off and the week he came back late last year (like really, a month-ish ago). I doubt I'll be watching much after the SB (I don't much care for basketball and they don't really talk about baseball which I do care about).

Also the Chiefs ended up as the 3rd seed in a much tougher conference. The eagles choked away the end of the season. Also Nick has always been a Chiefs fan regardless of anything else on the show. Brou isn't an eagles fan. He just thought because they went to the superbowl last year they would be the same team this year. Nick has a tattoo reminding him of what blind loyalty can cost you.

Do you think their QB problem is Hurts is over-rated or that Hurts is actually playing significantly injured? Have you watched the games? I've only watched a couple games and he definitely moves like Earl Campbell after the play is over (not sure you're old enough to have seen EC but he'd destroy linemen, safeties and tackles during a run, eventually get tackled and it'd take him 5 full seconds to get up off the ground; that's the comparison). He doesn't run as well, isn't escaping much at all, and at the end of plays is slow to get up. I don't know if they have a coaching problem as much as everything is defying most expectations. Would we think KC has a coaching problem (most think it's receivers, but if you don't change the receiver mix/usage, isn't that coaching?) ? Did anyone have Houston making the playoffs? Or Jax missing? Absolutely crazy year. Lots of questions.
