I want to put a pin on the comment about "he brings a level of continuity and a level of change"... -mmm, you can't stand up and sit down at the same time. You can either build upon something or you tear it down. Never serve two Masters.
@k29king15 сағат бұрын
You completely missed the entire point. The continuity is the things the team does do very well, and the talent the team has. With your logic bringing the kind of change you mean whether you realize it or not is to blow the entire thing up and start from scratch which is mind bogglingly stupid (no offense). 80% of the pieces are here, thats the continuity thats there. Your logic is that its black and white, but in reality its not a binary choice. There’s fundamental nuance you misunderstand based on your comment. And it’s also a false dichotomy. For an example lets say you want to upgrade an older PC, you have most the parts you already need and theres no need to build from scratch. However ypu can upgrade the ram, the cpu, the gpu, add water cooling, fans, rgb, etc all without needing to start from scratch and end up with a PC that is top of the line and more powerful than 99% of the PC builds out there because you already had the foundation, you just upgraded it instead of trying to play modern games with 10 year old components, you finally swallowed your pride and got with the times and now there’s nothing out there that can slow your pc down. THIS is approach they’re taking now and im all for it. Pessimistic views often muddy the water because you’re looking through shit tinted glasses.
@Elephant_Thoughts4 сағат бұрын
@k29king1 I understand what you're getting at but you do know that your older PC that you keep on building on will eventually cap out since your still using old parts. So when you completely remove all parts then you've technically rebuilt the entire PC which is no longer of the old. This is the path of continuity, not the path of change, because you've decided to build up what you already have. Change would involve throwing out the PC and starting from scratch; you can't have it both ways and honestly he threw that word specifically in there to appease the fans because that's what they want to hear this season. But I feel he's just shaking his head no but saying yes at the same time; actions speak louder than words my friend. ^_^

Absolutely a big change with coaches more importantly is the type of coaches . We've gotten used to a attitude that helped our coaches and more importantly the players we want to shine the brightest but don't have all the right players hoping that certain people would suit up and show up and they didn't Dak throwing the exact same route for a interception two years in a row all of us that watch every game practice know it's coming and you call it again and again. I like SHOTTY saying that everything looks the same run or pass is what everyone else does. I TRULY BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO BE DIFFERENT AND BETTER ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. I always thought that quality will eventually peoduce quantity. How'd they soon forgot, that their market for the franchise rose before, bow, and after they're long gone came from our brand of winning Championships. Not only regular season games, seasons, but always winning in the playoffs, and still one of the few teams to have 5 or more Lombardi's? It's like producing mass quantity of something in demand, by cutting corners to get it in people's hands, sacrificing the original quality of its contents! BOTTOM LINE EMBECILES. LOOKING AT THE DOLLAR VALUE, INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON THE WORTH OF THE VERY THING THAT EARNED THE DOLLARS IN THE FIRST PLACE. He'll provide some kabuki theatre and stand on the sidelines like the prop that he is while my father and I continue to screw things (errrrr, I mean, run things) up. It occurred to us that Cowboy fans will fill the stadium no matter what we do so there really is no real need to produce any more champions. As long as merch sales, TV contracts, and ticket revenue continue to role in my dad and I can continue to dress like coaches in interviews and vicariously live through others who made it their profession while not assuming any of the responsibility. Yep. It's good to be a Jones (but an absolute nightmare being a Cowboy fan).
