You mentioned fast stopping slot reels and how it doesn’t work. And I am one of those people that know which games I can stop the reels and which I can’t. I also know which games payout or lines hits are better than others. The games that I can stop the reels-I try to stop them every so often and I do fair better. I’ve stopped it and gotten bonuses and super grand chance balls, etc. I know you’re a slot pro from being a slot tech and also a player…but, I can only speak from my own experience as well as a close friend of mine that does the same thing.

One thing that remains unclear to me is...with it being random generated how does it limit the payouts so it still makes money in the long run? Despite the lower chance on hitting a jackpot it is still there and could hit more often when not limited? The thing I struggle with is that a lot of low volatility slots are being replaced and you find less and less options, they might be there but in a 2024 cabinet a lot harder to find. Is there an app or something (good idea? ;P) where you can type the manufacturer and slot name to get the volatility back?

The "long run" is a high enough number of spins that every theoretical combination of cards should come out of the deck dozens of times - enough that each combination, jackpot or otherwise, comes out of the decks roughly the expected number of times. It doesn't keep track of how many times it's paid out the jackpot before - in theory it could hit a jackpot twelve times in a row. There's no limit on it other than the number of cards in the deck keeping the chance of the jackpot low in the first place. The payouts are intentionally chosen with the size of the decks in mind - ie, if there's only 52 cards in each deck, then the rarest possible outcome is 1-in-140,608 (since that's 52 times 52 times 52), so there's never going to be a (non-progressive) jackpot bigger than 140,608 times the original wager, and even that assumes a 100% RTP and literally zero other payouts on the machine. More likely the machine would have a top payout of $10,000, then figure another ~$10,000 for the house edge, and then the other $120,608 would be distributed among various smaller payouts.

And some areas are dark.... I looked at a floor plan of a casino and it was crescent moon shape.. it was super hard to navigate and I could not find machines I previously played and was looking for that is why I started the floor plan and while it was crescent moon shape what led me through all the confusion was at the carpet design coloring of the carpet for the lighting of the spaces I wish you could do a roundabout video of the psychological aspect of what these elements are.>.. it would just be nice to recognize some of these things and avoid them to have a better time instead of walking around in circles LOL

I live about 45 mins from Atlantic City. My general rule of thumb is if I don’t hit in about 15 spins then I’m on to the next. And when I do hit something decent, even if it’s $20 or $30 I’m on to the next because the odds of it hitting decently twice are usually not that good. Another thing is if I’m up on a ticket I’ll cash that out and put the slip in my pocket and put a $5 bill in and start fresh. That way I don’t burn thru my wins and still have a happy surprise when I pull the slips out to cash them in the machine when I’m leaving. Keeps it in perspective easier.
