Massey Ferguson 35 with a three cylinder Perkins diesel has got to be in the top ten tractors ever manufactured. Great little tractor. Glad Howard & Son can help you out. Happy New year to you all.

Dan looks like you need new rubbers on the box scraper, slurry escaping all over, or somebody's cut them short on a replacement lol. All best for coming year!!

Same thing happened to my B414. got out of trouble by finding a heavy duty washer that fitted the neck of the ball of the joint,cut it in half then welded it to the cup preventing it from dropping apart. worked a treat until I had time to get a new track rod end

Handy little tractor the 35 good to see it working, there are still plenty of them doing a similar job every day it’s not always about these big horse power tractors ! Happy New year to you and the family 👍

Things sometimes break at bad time. Had to put a clutch slave cylinder in my Mazda truck on the day we were supposed to go on vacation. The part was available and we left just a bit later than planned.

A good farmer fix baler twine 🙄💪💪😂 shame so many good old tractors end up as a scraper tractor ☹️ was the 35 not a little more agile on the scraper than the 265🤔 loved the view from the seat wonder how many memories that brought back to people nice place to be 🙂 apart from the cold wet days 🥶😂😂

Lovely little 35, iconic little tractor still capable of putting in a good shift, little dairy farm I worked on just after I left school in early 2000's had one as a front line tractor in fact the only tractor on the farm other than a contractor mowing and baling it did everything on the farm
@patodwyer7214 жыл бұрын
Nice one Dan. You should teach the cows to go to the slatted area for slurry disposal and make their deposits there, problem solved😂 Jason Howard to the rescue, well done.

We use our 35 to scrap up to Dan. It has been rather cold over the last few days with the frost plus wind and rain. But she is a great wee tractor. Great video to end the year Dan. Happy New Year to you all when it comes

Looks like the little 35 tractor is better than the other one for doing these jobs (if a little chilly!). Also I love the DIY feed pusher inner thingie (I know you love your technical terms Dan!) :D Why spend a fortune on fancy machines when some tires will do!

If I had a pound for every hour I spent scraping out on the old MF35. There's loads of memories counting the 10 seconds for the thermometer/glowplug to heat up & getting it too late, so you had to start over, not fun in the lashing rain or snow. Hope you & your viewers have a good 2021.

Funny how things wait until the dealers are closed before breking down. Many years ago, I had a similar problem with a 2A L/R and got home by using the same method.

That nylon bale twine has a 1001 uses if you keep some lying around or lay your hands on some. Twist some together and splice pieces together you got a tough tow rope.

Scraper tractors aren’t as important on dairy farms in Ireland as they would have been a few decades ago the automatic scrapers and slatted passages done away with a lot of work and Brussels sent the money to pay for them
