It's true that yi doesnt require high mechanics to be played, however his Q is has the hardest timing in all game, i dislike yi, cause his dps is insane, but if u can cc him he is dead, so i gotta admit the Q timing is hard and important, and makes the difference between a bronze yi and a diamond yi. I don't get this hate against Yi. Maybe his basics are easy to learn, but there still is a skillcap between a good and an average Yi player, which mostly relies on the correct use of W.

Its because 80% of the league playerbase are silver and below that get shitstomped by master yi's rightclicking. Yis a balance nightmare cause hes got one of the lowest skill floors, but also a massive skill ceiling. Needs reworked

Ele Kappa ...no, its impossible to sidestep a point blank skillshot as a melee carry while outputting maximum dps. With Yi based around auto attacking, its impossible to orbwalk around someone you are attacking thats kiting backwards even with his movement speed.

Ele Kappa perhaps in some ways you are right, but remember that Yi is a melee champ, meaning what he has much less time to react to enemy certain ultimate or CC than playing a ranged champion, for example adc. It requires insane concentration and reaction as well as predicting enemy next moves. For example when he gonna use his escape spell, or dash through the wall. Yi by the fact is not the hardest champion in league, but in my opinion, in league biggest noob champs are tanks because stacking armor and mr it's so 'difficult' to play as well as they have very 'interesting' gameplay...

its not hard to "play" yi mechanically, even a mediocre yi can get a lot of kills. but consistently winning with yi is certainly not easy, its very hard to play well on a jungle champ with no way to set up his own ganks and not just play well but play well all, or most of the time.

People that say yi is a noob chanpion its not... his weakness is the crowd control.. just stun him , freeze him etc for like 2 times and he is dead, or he will just kill you all. And actually cowsep its not the best yi.. its the best yi that does youtube and streams on twitch. Ive only heard about myple story being the yi god himself. Yea cowsep is so good anyways , I must say , but there are better yi`s out there. When im thinking at myple story I just remember an insane play that he did.. he won a 1vs1 in enemy`s tower with the enemy minions hitting him while he had no ally minions against a tristana , both full hp , but yi was level 4 and tristana level 3.. both of them used their flash but tristana died and yi escaped with 1/4 hp... yikes.
