DanjEU depends from person to person x) Vayne wasn't that hard to master for me (in fact she is one of my favorite ADC's) playing with riven is one thing but mastering her is an another. you gotta know how to combo or you will lose so much potential, same goes with rengar,if you can't combo good/correctly you're just shit lol :P, been playing rengar for half a year and the combo still is a bit hard to pull off, you really need to put time and effort in it :) same goes with riven, I don't really know the combo but I know there is one. (same goes for LB but she is so easy to pull off, combo: E+Q+R+W)

***** I'm a leblanc main, I feel like she isn't that hard to master but the main difficulty with her is that you need perfect positioning and map awareness. Also the LB combo you posted is very easy to counterplay against, a better combo would be W + Q + R + E or W + R + Q +E but this one requires really fast reactions :P And i 100% agree with you on the rengar thing.

DanjEU been training much, rarely miss a skillshot, the trick is to not keep spamming abilities, wait for the right moment, so the E+Q+R+W combo works perfectly fine, and it does the most damage, as you said you need fast reactions, there are no wait for the stun to go off just E+Q+R in a fast way so it looks like your W is doing all the damage, so there is no time for counterplay if you do it in a quick succession ;) and I've noticed that the ''wrong'' LB (you know, ya passive) is the one without items, just realised that for like a month ago xD

Bronze 5 players be like, "Yi is easy I could make those plays." EDIT: To be fair, Master Yi is not a hard champion to play at low levels, similar to Fizz or Leblanc. However, at a high level Yi takes a lot of skill for timing and such.

Bionic Potato Not saying that I can get a Korean diamond pentakill. But Yi is one of those champions that take less skill, compared to other assassin champs like ahri or zed. I'm shit at league and picked up this champion and actually started helping the team for once. Probably cause he has no skill shots. Really all you need with yi is good timing on when to q.

mechanically no yi is not with a high skill cap because of his kit in general and for everyone that says timing your q and w is hard it's very easy to tell when an apponant is going to do something if you know the champ not predict but the animation of the ability but you need to know when to ingage (dicision making) or take an objective in high Plat and low diamond

People who are hating on cowsep are bronze low elo players. Cowsep is playing on a Korean server and is a diamond. It's much more the pressing Q+Auto. Niall Geoghegan yi relies mostly on farming jungle, he is a poor duelist pre 6 unless he has a advantage (item or exp). and also you don't get any kills in higher elo if you don't time your q's right. there is really rarely luck involved in diamond/master.

Majority of the clips here are actually pretty good split-second reaction Q's and W's to counter out burst dmg. Can't understand why so many ppl complain about his simple kit when it has so much built-in counterplay for both against and for the Yi player to make use with to outplay his opponents. Master Yi main here btw.

Dylan George Since i play a lot of champs that have some form of CC...Yi..Xin Zhao..and few champs that are hated....Are not a problem for me....Everyone that knows thats he doing with the champ knows when to stop him from getting a penta...those ppl just go Q....0.1 after they show up i stun them and they're dead.....Same goes with Riven and others...I dont even give them some time to use W and stun....Thats why only good people DO something usefull in fights...

As a Master Yi main, I agree that he is "easy to play". He has a very simple kit, has no skillshots, and is completely auto-attack based. He's "OP" for low elos *bronze* because if the summoner is at all decent he can focus the right enemies or the opposing team has no idea how to use their cc properly. Plat + he is countered by any type of cc except slows (due to his ultimate)

I don't think people understands the game enough to tell what is a hard champion and what is an easy champion. Master Yi for example, his kit is so simple that he can be killed in just 1 CC. He's like an ADC, but melee range. He's not an assassin, because without a target to jump on, he cannot escape. When You watch this montage just ask yourself, have you ever used Master Yi's Q to dodge AND wasted WW's ult EVER? I know I haven't. It's almost impossible to evade hard CC's like WW's ult. Best Master Yi no less!

Everyone is also forgetting when in a teamfight or a 1v1 he has to predict or react with insane speed to minimize damage with his W from hits he can't dodge which is so much harder than most people realize. Also as everyone who has a brain has said, timing his Q's to dodge skillshots and tower shots is also incredibly difficult at a high level and to pull it off consistently.

All these insane dodge with Q and meditate and instant Q can be done with scripts/ tools EASILY! Did anyone notice cowsep play the same way in tournaments? does he even pick yi? I always have doubts whether these guys are fucking with us and using hacks( can be hidden easily in any stream sadly)

+Dante Manor most of the vids are with feral flare. were complete different times for yi. he was really sick back then and was banned a lot in rankeds. this guy also uses his q perfectly to dodge cc and his w to tank incoming damage and reset aa at the right time. need overall game experience for that. regarding the fact this is a montage, you can assume he plays a shit ton of games with yi and the ones he gets the pentas are to see here. no one is putting up a montage to show how he fails with a champ :D keep on practising, you'll get your penta ;)

The only thing you must have to play yi perfectly is logic, and reaction... So... Compared to lee, ahri, zed, yasuo, ekko etc. he is simple aa assassin as you dont need to aim or do some crazy calculations of combo in one situation. He is good main for begginers as he easier to learn cuz of not complicated mechanics.

Why do people like to simplify things so much? League is 100% BASED ON SKILL. NO CHAMP IS "easy". If anyone could make plays like this with champs that they find "simple", would anyone be bronze? No. So any ignorant fucks that see montages or Yi, Annie, Udyr, ext. and think the plays were easy are bronze and simply don't understand league of legends.

Omg nice work. I especially love how salty the little kids get when you make a Yi montage because at every game they get wrecked. I main Yi and he is soo easy to play and get people pissed off because little kids dont know the definition of a game and they take it seriously. While i right click my enemies to death, i can feel those little kids souls wrentch. So i continue and q the crap out of them and get my well deserved pentakill in each game. Then after i type gg ez in the chat to piss them off some more. I also like how easy it is to get to Gold 3 with Yi and make people q dodge in league or cause them to go afk as i take down top two towers before the 25 minute mark. It is also lovely to see how the enemy team salt rises soo high and they report me for plying Yi, but after 4 seasons and alot of mastery points later i still have my account :). The rank games are sooo easy with Yi, especially when i q the right time and shred tanks like Darius, Garen and Aliaster. Then they rage at me and go afk and all i type is gg ez noobs to piss them off even more, if i get lucky they totally give up and run to mid so they can feed :)) AHHHHH GOOD TIMES.

Remember kids the only reason you think he's easy is because you let him either farm of feed off your lanes. Any champ can do what YI does and Yi has more exploitable weaknesses than most. Higher elo players can take down a Yi no problem.. Takes skill to get in challenger as a YI

I have to say that he is good at skill timing and that stuff but... most of the things he is doing any player can do it. Im not a hater of Master Yi but you have to admit, he is a very easy to master champion. But it doesnt mean its a bad champ, he is just like KAtarina! Kata is one of the easiest mid laners to use but you can do a lot of things because of her set of abilities (most of those "things" with the shunpo") and this is what happens to Yi. But it doesnt mean he is a hard to master champion, he is still one of the easiest to play with and... most of the things he is doing in this video common Yi players can do it.... PS: Sorry for my bad english.

As a diamond 1 player. Yi takes no skill... All the low enough players claiming that only low elo players think yi is easy. Yi is not only easy but he is really dangerous in the hands of someone who knows how to correctly time his q. Which isn't hard BTW. After gold no one uses yi. Easy to shut down and also people still call you skill less if you manage to carry with him...
