They should have these in states like Ohio. When I go on INaturalist and search “Lake Sturgeon” and see all in Ohio, there’s only observations of dried up ones on the beaches of Lake Erie. Such a sad thing for native fish. And alligator gar are extirpated unfortunately as well as many other really cool species.

I know they know what they're doing but all that excess food floating/on the bottom kinda concerns me

They probably have a constant water change system thing and they might have a overflow thing so the pellets that didn’t get eaten get overflowed but not the fish
