A how to video showing the installation and instructions of the GC Jetski Fishing Minn Kota mounting bracket and 100a/h lithium battery tray. Installing a Minn Kota Powerdrive on a Seadoo Fish Pro Trophy.
This bracket will work on Fish Pro Trophy, Fish Pro Sport, GTX and RXT models with the ST3 hull.

Great instructional vid. QUESTION: Why can't you run lithium batteries on all with a 150 AH?

@@michaelsantino2037 are you meaning running lithium batteries on the skis engine starting battery etc? If so, the skis stator and charging system does not suit lithiums due to the charging amps and voltages, also many of these large lithiums only have a recommended current use of under 100amp loads, the engines starter motor draws more current than this

No I don't... Any dealership should have the skills to take on the install however

@@danieljacobs9105 I cannot confirm. But the top plate is flat and being aluminium it can be drilled to suit mounting holes for other brands. I have customers that have mounted other brands no issues just drill a few new holes in the top plate

awesome - how would the customer charge the lithium battery? is there a disconnect connector on the trolling motor power?

@@GCJetskiFishing I just bought this kit from you along with the trolling motor mount and puck bracket for my 2024 trophy - how did you route the trolling motor power cables thru the front of the hull to your back battery tray? also, would you recommend changing the stock dual batteries on the trophy to a different 12v 18aH battery, or increase to higher aH (I was afraid the breakers wouldn't like over 50aH)

Where and how did you wire TM through hull?

Hi Paul, it's easiest to run the power wires through the vent tubes up the front, then install a plug in the side of the front nose plastic cover, right behind where it has a 'Seadoo' sticker. You can trim the wiring coming out of the minn kota so that it's only maybe 200mm long

Great piece of kit Grant. A minnkota set up on a ski would be a game changer. How much roughly am i looking at having this installed on my Gtx300 including the minnkota & battery? Cheers Richie

Thanks mate, it really is an incredible tool for fishing. Depending on the type of minn kota and battery you get, you'd probably be looking at around $5000 NZD to $7000 NZD all up
