Hey there! I am interested in purchasing your deluxe 4 rod holder for my 2024 Waverunner FX SVHO. However, I don't want to use them for rod holding, I would like to use them to hold an umbrella for shade while hanging out at the beach or sandbar. My question is, do you happen to know the circumference of the hole itself?

@@michaelsantino2037 are you meaning running lithium batteries on the skis engine starting battery etc? If so, the skis stator and charging system does not suit lithiums due to the charging amps and voltages, also many of these large lithiums only have a recommended current use of under 100amp loads, the engines starter motor draws more current than this

How does this change the performance and stability of the jetski? It was designed (I have the 2023) to put fuel caddies and other accessories on the rear of the ski.

This tank is designed to keep the weight of the extra fuel as close to the main tank as possible, also as low and central on the ski as possible. If you put too much weight on the back deck the ski will start porpoising. Also the way this tank is plumbed, the fuel is used from this tank first so as soon as you start riding the weight in this tank starts to get less until it's empty.

@@danieljacobs9105 I cannot confirm. But the top plate is flat and being aluminium it can be drilled to suit mounting holes for other brands. I have customers that have mounted other brands no issues just drill a few new holes in the top plate

Excellent instruction on taking side panel off. I just used a Sharpie to mark my 2 top holes, and a nail to mark the bottom.

@@GCJetskiFishing I just bought this kit from you along with the trolling motor mount and puck bracket for my 2024 trophy - how did you route the trolling motor power cables thru the front of the hull to your back battery tray? also, would you recommend changing the stock dual batteries on the trophy to a different 12v 18aH battery, or increase to higher aH (I was afraid the breakers wouldn't like over 50aH)

Hi Paul, it's easiest to run the power wires through the vent tubes up the front, then install a plug in the side of the front nose plastic cover, right behind where it has a 'Seadoo' sticker. You can trim the wiring coming out of the minn kota so that it's only maybe 200mm long

Thanks mate, it really is an incredible tool for fishing. Depending on the type of minn kota and battery you get, you'd probably be looking at around $5000 NZD to $7000 NZD all up

Will a ride plate mounted larger transducer (like the Lowrance 3 in 1) affect the ride and performance of the waverunner? I like the clean look but a bit concerned performance will suffer.

Nice. My next purchase from you and a winter project. Do you notice any leaning to the left under travel from the weight of the Minn Kota or does the battery weight offset enough? Got suggestions of where to mount the heading sensor if I have a windshield?

Yes the idea is the battery placement offsets the weight and evens things out. I am working on designing a mount for the heading sensor on ski's with windshields

If using lithium batteries the actual weight of them is miniscule. Going to need something else besides that for ballast if needed.

@@rickss69 thats not entirely true, lithium batteries are light in comparison to traditional batteries but you need large batteries for trolling motors. My 100ah lithium battery (12kg) weighs 3/4 of the weight of the minn kota unit (16kg)
