It has been said that there is no better way to honor a legacy than to continue it, and the Mk4 Roadster was designed to accurately reproduce the looks of the legendary 427 Cobra®, keeping its essence intact, while using modern technology, parts, and materials to improve performance, reliability, and comfort. The current owner, who took possession of this Roadster in June 2024, has meticulously maintained it, performed several key upgrades, and kept it stored in a climate-controlled facility.
Under the front-hinged hood lies the heart of this 1967 Shelby® Cobra® replica: a revered Ti-VCT® (Twin independent Variable Cam Timing) 5.0L (302 cu.in.) “AluminatorTM” Gen 2 Coyote® V8 engine. Cooled by an aluminum radiator and an 11-inch Perma-Cool® high-performance electric fan, this powerhouse delivers an astonishing 435 horsepower and 400 foot-pounds of torque, launching this 2,250-pound rocket from 0-60 faster than most modern sports cars. Paired with a Tremec® T5 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip 8.8-inch rear di fferential with a B&M® finned aluminum cover, this Roadster o ers both soul-stirring performance and classic driving pleasure.
