This is definitely the way to do it. The coyote is almost a cheat code for power. A reliable 7-800hp is easily attainable with a total of like 4 or 5 mods and a good tune. Not many other platforms can say the same. I hate to be “that guy” but the LS/LT are the only other ones that really even come close. Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN )!

The coyote is a great race engine, it isn't a great drag engine. It's good flat out on the track at high revs, off the line is another story. You're waiting until 3k for any usable torque, and up to 5k for decent power to kick in. Viper motors regularly torch them on any road despite having less total power, because they get more power at low revs and for longer duration.

Yeah its not perfect but very fun. 5k to 8k it screams

I'd love to do a Facory Five cobra kit with a voodoo, but then I look at my potential budget and stop thinking about it. This is an excellent build tho, props.

Yeah that would be cool and a few people have done it. I think for had lots of challenges with getting it balanced. Part of the reason you cant get it as a crate motor.
@Jeezey2 жыл бұрын
Totally agree about the exhaust note. I bought a 2020 Coyote crate engine for my project. I’m torn as to what muffler to run, because I don’t like the way new mustangs sound as opposed to a smallblock with Flowmasters.

How much does it cost to build? $100,000?
@michaelcraven7217 Жыл бұрын
It was under that.

So he transplanted a Chevy LS coyote in his ford & people wanted to throw shit at him? The car looks sick, wish they went over build costs as well, since he went over the 3yr timeline it took him to complete this.
@michaelcraven72172 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The coyote is a ford engine. Its what's in the mustang GTs since 2011 (and an f150 option). The breakdown of the build cost is a little more complicated.

The Coyotes aren't annoying anymore. Side pipes fellas.

Yeah I always think that's very ironic that its so known to be Americana but has the UK roots.

Nice build. Certainly to be proud of. Love the 5 point harness. Tired of seeing hot rods with mega horsepower and a lap belt or no belt at all. High powered coffins is what they are.

Yeah Its not a safe car in general so figured I would do it right with belts.
