They used 2 GTOs for the movie also they wanted to used the car more in movie but the casts members couldn’t drive it due to its power. Crazy fact Aerosmith change the Director $100,000 for the 30 second intro.

Ive ownedi a 1970 lemans, a 71 lemans a 72 lemans and a 72 lemans T-37, but was never able to score the GTO. The t-37 wouldve been a good GTO clone project since it had basically GTO interior without the badges and wheels, but hind sight is 2020. Beautiful car guys.

Pretty sure all the GTO judges came with the safety t track 12 bolt posi And from the introduction of your video this is a one tire fire so you may want to check the RPO codes on that rear end if it a real judge I know that's just an appearance package but it should have a posi

I believe the lack of the rim trim rings was part of weight reduction package were they reduced weight by cutting out different items that were not necessary for performance

We actually just got 2 cars in that are very similar. One is a 1972 Nova with 750hp formally owned and built by guy who builds cars for NASCAR. We also have a sweet 1970 GTO that will run the 1/4 in 10 seconds. You should see both of those cars coming to our website in the next few weeks.
