The favorite trick of the legendary Tom Penny and fellow legend Andrew Reynolds. It's a great trick.

Can’t believe he didn’t mention penny!! That’s who Reynolds got his fs flips from

@@lennondabb6243 Agreed. Penny is the master of the move. Reynolds himself said that, and I agree.

Dang that's a nice fs flip. A great mix between hardflip and kickflip style fs flip, 10/10.

Your frontside flips are just perfect! I’d love to learn this trick like you do it, I have kickflip down really well, frontside 180’s ok but not great. But I can’t even seem to throw a frontside flip at all, the board just doesn’t even spin. I’ll try out some of your tips here to see if they help…
@highwayexit4 жыл бұрын
I’ve been able to fs flip the pivot way for about 8 years and I know it’s acceptable but I just have higher standards. I want them fold in the air like yours. Also do you find they’re strangely awkward out of ramps and take more commitment? I subbed too. I appreciate long tutorials with detail.
@coyoterobshreds4 жыл бұрын
ive always had trouble with flip tricks out of ramps because I skate so much street but it helps me to pop less and lean back a little when I frontside flip out of ramps! and thanks for the support man I appreciate it!

@@coyoterobshreds You weren't kidding, Tyler Price whom I hand't heard of has a perfect FS flip. Sewa's I have to disagree with, his are too textbook and lack that special something.

I can only fs flip the hardflip way. Trying to do them flat i only get like 90 degrees, but I like the hardflip way more than doing a pivot mid trick 🤷♂️

Most useful trick tip on fs flips aside from sewa’s trick tip
@axxelgannon91464 жыл бұрын
But you actually do have more control if you learn by pivoting, easier to catch down gaps if you catch it sideways and rotate while you go down, also more control when going to fs flip to manual, in between the legs tho looks sick but like you said we all have different styles
@coyoterobshreds3 жыл бұрын
yea but after you learn them in between the legs I think its easy to learn it pivot after. all comes to play when learning kickflip nose slides and down big gaps like you said!

I don't understand how the front foot can curl into the body side and also to the side way. And the ankle, it looks kinda vertical when it flicks.

I'm regular and my left foot stays lower than my right foot by the time I'm at 90 degrees. And my left arm kinds of folds backwards like this -> ㄴoㄱ like the one in the ancient Egyptian paintings. I wanna fix my motion so badly but Idk, I think that's becuz my legs can't stretch sideways🤦♂️
