This is quite a treat to watch! I love how you tackled the clouds. Just mesmerizing to watch. Definitely one for me to attempt! How much time do you put in for this sketch? My issue is I put in so much time to sketch and then so fearful to paint wrong…

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad that you enjoyed watching my video and found it inspirational. As for the time I put into this particular sketch, it took me about Half hour to complete. I completely understand the fear of painting wrong, but remember, art is all about experimenting and taking risks. In fact, I have good news for you! My latest video addresses this issue directly by providing a Printable Sketch that you can download and use for coloring. This way, you can practice coloring without worrying about making mistakes. The image in the printable sketch is similar to the one in the video and is easy to color. I would love to see your attempt at it, so please feel free to share your artwork with me. I often use a medium-textured sketchbook with 100gsm paper, if you're a beginner, I suggest using watercolor paper or a watercolor sketchbook, or even thicker paper that is easier to work with. If I come across a great sketchbook in the future, I'll definitely recommend it in my videos. Keep creating and enjoy your artistic journey!

I love art and I'm improving myself more and more. I think it's so exciting and beautiful to see that there are still so many people who like to paint landscapes, these things for me are true art, not doodles haha (my personal opinion, sorry if it offends anyone, it wasn't the intention). My favorite is Van Gogh and this painting gave me a feeling very similar to what I feel when I see his works. Congratulations!🥺❤

It may not be your intention but it can still be offensive or can cause insecurities to those who express art in other ways like doodling. We can always express our opinion but it won’t hurt if we choose to use kinder word, don’t you think so? And I agree that her art is truly beautiful and calming. :)

The sketchbook I'm currently using was actually a gift from a friend, so I can't provide specific information about where to buy it. However, I must admit that I don't highly recommend this particular sketchbook because the paper is quite thin and tends to wrinkle during painting. If you're a beginner, I suggest using watercolor paper or a watercolor sketchbook, or even thicker paper that is easier to work with. If I come across a great sketchbook in the future, I'll definitely recommend it in my videos. Keep creating and enjoy your artistic journey!

I'm glad you enjoyed the painting! Mixing colors can be tricky, but here are a few tips that might help: 1. Start with the primary colors: Red, blue, and yellow. With these, you can create a wide range of other colors by mixing them in different combinations. 2. Practice color mixing: Experiment with mixing different amounts of each color to see how they affect the resulting hue. 3. Use a color wheel: This can help you understand color relationships and how to create various shades and tones. 4. Start with a small amount: You can always add more paint if you need a darker shade, but it's harder to lighten a color once it's too dark. 5. Keep a record: Note down the combinations you use and their results. This can help you replicate successful mixes in the future.
