Kelsey, I really enjoyed this video. It's relaxing to listen to your sweet, gentle voice and hear your children playing in the background. Love watching you cook, and bake, and your recipes always look so good. And, I love the idea of dipping and hanging the Fall leaves. So sweet and pretty. 🧡🧡

I’m 70 years old and I have a basket of rocks under my kitchen counter that our youngest daughter who is now 43 collected when she was a little girl with her other brothers and sisters. I cherish them. I love to see children outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Happy Fall and love from Missouri

Your video was so sweet today. Seeing the children walking and collecting leaves with you then standing in the kitchen helping with the apples, took me back many years ago when my ‘littles’ were actually little lol. They’re 40 and 37 now. I always have good intentions with planting bulbs but somehow it gets lost in the hustle of other fall work. Your selection will be so beautiful come spring. Thank you for sharing your “little homestead” with us. It is such a reminder of what is possible and how joy filled and uplifting time outside with our families can be. God Bless You Kelsey. 🤗

Beautiful as always Kelsey. I'm snuggled under a blanket with an immune support herbal tea enjoying your filming and calming voice. Your childrens love of nature is so sweet, may that always be so for them and their children. Bless you ❤

I love hearing your kids singing and playing in the background. That soup looks amazing. I may have to try that. Today I am trying to bring in as many plants and herbs from the garden before we have constant frost here in SE Michigan. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!😍

Beautiful video. I'm one week postpartum, and have been home with baby girl for 2 days. It's so good to be home with all my babies now, I'm a mama of 3 girls. Longest 5 days, being only with the new baby, away from my older 2.

I have a jar of beeswax sitting in my craft room for almost 25 years! This weekend we will use it (don't remember why I got it) and make a window dressing with the grands - they will have fun and I will look out each day at the beauty and remember. Thanks for this wonderful idea!

Hi Kelsey, totally understand why you couldn’t resist those amazing tulip bulbs! 🌷 I’ve also created a bulb broder this year, I’m really looking forward to see how it turns out come spring.

I only buy Kirkland oat milk, plus it’s very affordable. Do you ever make fire cider for winter? I’ve started putting my apple peels in the dehydrator when I make applesauce, but your chickens probably get yours. I love fall baking as well. Have a blessed day

Love, love, love the spring break tulips and now I have to go on Baker Creek’s site. They are actually not that far from me. I really want to take a trip there.

I also just throw things together that either need used or because I think it will taste good together. It’s often something my husband really enjoys and says to put into our rotation… I don’t always remember exactly what I put in it though 😂

I also make soup weekly during the colder seasons. I do a combo of clean out the refrigerator on Sat mornings, along with whatever hits my fancy. Sat evening is some version of soup and sandwich. Plus we know exactly what is in it. Nothing in a commercial can comes close.

Beautiful video and thanks for reminding me to plant some spring bulbs! We moved onto our 60 acre property last year and it’s still a mess with construction materials everywhere and no garden area constructed yet. But, I think I’ll plant bulbs around trees and in planters so that I can enjoy those beautiful spring flowers. It pained me to leave behind my tulips and daffodils at our old house 😢

I never knew to dip the leaves in hot beeswax. I had only heard to put them between two sheets of wax paper and run an hot iron over them. So, thank you.

Though I dread Fall time as I have no trees, but my neighbors have Maples and Oaks and I get most of the leaves, it is so much work raking. I pray for wind to carry them. I know that is mean, but I work 45 hours a week, take care of my own and rake everything. That being said, my favorite flower are Tulips. I like you have them planted in every bed with Hyacinths. I need color all year long. I am in PA as well, so after all my hard work, I need color. I have a Winterberry shrub in my back fence that gives me red all winter and a Holly Shrub which also helps, but when March arrives I become alive. I get so sad during winter, but I have no Veggie Garden like you. I must rely on my flowers. It is so dry in Southeastern PA it's crazy. 80 degrees in November, Chem Trails the past 3 days, I just can't. Thank you for the Video. Have a safe Winter.

Sweet and dear friend. This was so wonderful. I agree with the beauty of spring bulbs... but my squirrels eat them all.. :( That was an expensive lesson to learn. I have added a sprinkling of cinnamon and hot chili peppers and they just eat them all. UGH. You give me such joy in watching your farm grow and become prepared for the winter. You will be so proud of me... I have purchased a garden planning book... second hand so I saved money too! A bit of bad news. I was involved in a MVA Rear Ender... so sore and slow is the name of the game for now. My hubby will be home from deployment in just over a month, so the count down is very much exciting. We have a fantastic Halloween evening. We actually ran out of some of the goodies. Only a handful of chips and chocolates are left, a good amount of the 'Teal Pumpkin' treasures for next year {This is for trick or treaters who have allergies or to small or have challenges that it makes it easier for them to have a toy}, I ran out of the big and small dog balls or treats, only had two small cat toys left, no bird toys left. Two bags of three crickets each for lizards/snakes/reptiles or creepy crawlies are left. Not a single jello shot was left... and there were three types... the one that is vegan was wild berry with rum, then two regular jello Lime with whiskey and a Raspberry Cream with again whiskey.... I got at least one of each to sample, so they were very good this year. This means we had over 400 trick or treaters and their families. Such a wonderful season. As it is a very big celebration in my faith it was very good to bring all this good karma into the lives of neighbours and friends. I hope your night was awesome too. Hugs from Esquimalt.... and as always you bring me such joy when you share what your family is up to. Thank you.

Kelsey, what a wonderfully peaceful video. Your choice of music, your voice, your serenity among all that you and Matt have envisioned. I so enjoy all that you share. You mentioned the "schoolroom" as you hung those beautiful leaves; are you homeschooling? Just curious. Wishing you continued contentment.

Yeah, I like MCT oil in my homemade oat milk. It does an ok job frothing but you’re right, it’s not quite the same. Which is a little bit of a bummer but cinnamon, vanilla or maple syrup help to make up for that 😉
