I just don’t think there’s gotta be a better word than free lol it’s amazing what you can find that people are just getting rid of! I have an electric fireplace in my bedroom as well and it’s just it’s just so cozy isn’t it?? I have that same Tasha Tudor book and I’m with you. I love graphics in Books. They just speak to me.. one of my daughters actually just ordered me three hygge style books tonight. I can’t wait to get those for Christmas. Speaking of chestnuts, Costco is carrying them currently.

Love the Christmas bedroom! I like the layers of color, so cozy. I adore cookbooks, I have two book shelves full. one of my very favorite ways to settle in for some happiness is to go through and put markers of the ones I want to try. Lol I have a couple of books that are just filled wit sticky notes! Hav a great Christmas Abby so happy your feeling better.

That bed looks very inviting! I love books. My oldest daughter is reading all of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books; she loves them. She also just finished reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I love a good book, and so does she. Today is Christmas Eve and we had snow last night here in the Toronto area, white Christmas for us.

I love Nigel Slater’s recipe books. And, like you, I could sit and read them just for themselves without ever cooking anything. I have his Kitchen Diaries as well as the Christmas one and I was given his latest book A Thousand Feasts for my birthday. It is just full of his thoughts and ramblings, no recipes, and describes itself as “Small moments of joy….a memoir of sorts.” By the way the river Thames is pronounced Tems here in the UK. Have a lovely Christmas.

Hi Abby Joe, Nadia and Daniel. What a beautiful Christmas room We have decorated our rooms as well for Christmas/winter. Our master is similar to yours with the red plaid and green accents including a crocheted afghan I made years ago (my favorite and warmest stitch/basket weave!) for a throw on top. We also have an electric fireplace and tv in there! The other bedroom where I have my gallery wall (inspired by yours), is all different colors but mostly light blues/pinks with soft blankets, pillows, and always, candles. Books in the nightstand/my quiet place. Thankful for you and your family and glad you are feeling better I wish you all a Merry Christmas Love from SC.💕😊🏝️🎄🙏🏻

That's my daughter Nadia, I found that vintage cardigan at a thrift store. It's all wool made in Norway. You might find something similar on Ebay... I hope you find one!
