I love how your mom’s face lights up EVERY TIME she talks about a piece of decor she got from her father. I lost my mom 6 years ago and every Christmas I place the snowmen she collected around my house. It truly feels like she’s around during the holidays. All of the decorations are beautiful! I love how your mom incorporated pieces that mean so much to her like the wooden santa her dad made, the post he gave her, and the glass bottles he used to collect. I think adding decor that has a story behind it or a connection to another person is so meaningful and really makes the house feel homey! ❤️

She goes all out! I love that. It is soooo cozy and feels like home- even just through a camera. You can definitely tell memories and all things family is what she loves and cares about the most. My dad passed away on father's day when I was 13 and those sentimental gifts she has from him are my favorite because I know just how special those are to have.

i love the light, white, clean style she has throughout the whole house!! Also love that almost all her furniture is old and she just paints it or revamps it to her style at the time!! You cannot find the good quality stuff that you could years ago, so the fact she kept things and changed it up her way instead of getting rid of it is amazing!! i love that and cant wait to do that with my house one day!!

I think what makes it extra special is the fact they have been there a long time. That cozy home feeling. If you are fortunate enough to have that it’s something very special indeed. Also I have a special place in my heart for handmade ornaments. I have all of the ornaments my mom made when she turned 18 and had bought her first home. She made all of her tree ornaments herself and I love them so much.

I absolutely love how thought out each section of her house she. She detailed everything down to the T. This is probably the prettiest Christmas decor house I have seen yet. I’m definitely going to be getting some inspirational while I am decorating this year. I drew up very poor and we never had tree. Now that I am older and have my own place, decorating for Christmas means everything to me! Because you can decorate how you want it to be decorated and it elevates your home. When you come home from a long days work, nothing is better that coming home to a beautiful Christmas house!
