Solvang is such a cute little town! One time I stopped there on my way to LA and the bakeries are amazing! I would love to stay at the hotel that you're staying at. It's so quaint and cute! Fun fact - the owner of the high roller tiki lounge used to be a Disneyland cast member.. he makes rum and wine and has had both featured at DCA before. Some of the wine they sell there have labels that are Disney related.

My daughter lives in Leavenworth, WA. She's one of the managers at Icicle Brewery. They have a couple real vintage gondolas inside 😊.

My Mom use to work at the post office there in Solvang. We would go to the Hotel Corque next door, because they would have a giant gingerbread house in the lobby. :)

I LOVE Solvang. It is rare for me to get out of Ingeborg's for less that $60. Also, one of my favorite places to eat is the Red Viking Restaurant, also on Copenhagen.

Now that Andersen’s Split Pea Soup Restaurant is closed, there must be some restaurant that still cooks split pea soup. Did you find some good soup? Grew up in Santa Barbara in the 50s - 60s, and we’d go to Solvang just for the soup! It’s really nice now with all the additions. Enjoyed your vid and trip sharing, thanks. 😊

It’s been years since we’ve been to Solvang! Let’s say we are way overdue! My twin sister and her husband also have a chiweenie, a black one named Jasmine. They stayed at that hotel once. I think we all need to take a family trip there although it’s a long drive since we live in the Sf Bay Area. Well, they moved to Roseville but still…merry Christmas!
