You and Mike make a great team. You remind me of my husband and I. We too have done many projects on our house that is over 100 years old. When we started it was a four room house with a back porch that they added in 1946 to put a bathroom. It had one wire going through the house for a light in the kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. We’ve been working on it for 34 years🥴. It’s truly been a blessing and a labor of love. What makes your home so beautiful is your love for one another and your family. ❤❤❤

I love that you have made sure tv isn't the focus of your living room (and bedroom). We haven't had tvs for years now. Once I realized how weird it was having chairs and couches oriented towards staring at a tv rather than towards other seating to foster real person to person conversation, (not to mention there's nothing wholesome on) I was ready to get rid of it altogether. I am much much older than you and we have four now adult children. I enjoy homemaking, love the Lord and am married to a Mike who also makes all my ideas come to life. We both enjoy renovations and took on our biggest project in 2020 ( at the ages of 65 and 70 ) of renovating a 2000 sft brick ranch right out of 1975. It has been fun and rewarding. Hi Andrea 🤗 all I can say is WOW!!!! I always say ur home is my fave!!! Mike is something else (I guess u no that 😂😂😂) he reminds me of my husband that loves building things n our homes. I always wanted a barn door n my home & my hubby found an old door on the side of the road brought it home refinished it. He removed the closet door n our entry way & installed it there. I keep it open cause he then built shelves that I got to decorate & I LOVE it.
