I'm probably your mom's generation, but I can attest that our mothers, your grandmothers, were mostly stay at home moms. It really hasn't been many generations when the women were expected to work. I alway wanted to be like my mom and be a stay at home, dedicated to raising the children, but I was faced with accusations of being lazy back in the 1980s. So NO... women are not less then just for dedicating their time to their family!

Everything is beautiful. I love that your hubby sounded like mine. He use to ask me the same kind of questions and then let me decide if I really wanted something or not. Love where you placed the crock by the stove. You could try that little crock on a bedside table with a sprig of greenery. That would be pretty on the desk as well. I collect those Shakespeare plates! They are super hard to find here where I live. I'm not going to lie....my heart hurt a bit watching you glue them knowing how long it has taken me to collect some for my wall, but as always, everything you touch is so lovely! :)
