I feel so weird that everyone is crocheting. I started crocheting when I was 8 and my whole life crafters make it seem inferior to knitting, which of course I learned too. But here we are with my first crafting love popular.

That's very cool that you've known how to crochet for so long! I've been crocheting for a few years now but I am not good at it at all haha. I think it's interesting to see hobbies like these become more popular again, it seems to me people are becoming more aware of the need for actively practicing slowing down and creating more space for analog activities, which is causing this resurface of things like crocheting, coloring and even embroidering! Hobbies that encourage us to be creative and be more present, and even tap into our inner child a little bit. It makes me very happy to see it ❤️
