Awe, I just adore Grandpa. I could feel in his tone of voice and in the eyes when you brought up Grandma's cookies his heart took him back to her and those memories. Great memories but it is heartbreaking to see someone elderly think of their late love of 30+ years. Definitely pulled my heart strings. 💔💜 I needed festive vibes on this summer day for some reason....so here I am. 😊 Sorry.

Fun fact: fried steak pieces are very common in South Dakota we call it Chislic. It’s traditionally made with lamb and only served with garlic salt, but most restaurants serve steak instead of lamb. It’s like the dish our state is known for and it’s hard to find elsewhere.

My kids (3&4) call my Mom mommom also. Glad to hear someone else calls their grandmother that also. It started as my oldest not being able to pronounce grandma correctly but it has stuck for good. Loving vlogmas. 👍🏻

To answer Mindy's sweater question, I got 90s too. It's late-80s and early-90s. Like OG Saved By The Bell era. The neon stuff came around in the late-80s. Watch TLC's early-90s songs circa 1991, Minx's birth year.
