Thanks so much for sticking with this! Really not only enjoyable to watch but as someone who’s introducing my partner, another cozy gamer, to souls games, it’s helpful to see you struggle with the same things they do and normalize the learning process for me. For a dove without spoilers, the Bloodhound Fang is one of the best weapons in the game so definitely level up to try it. Remember if you two hand a weapon you get a 50% boost to your strength stat so you only need to level dex a little t use it. And don’t deny yourself summons. They’re a fun mechanic of the game and only geeks will complain about using them.

I’m definitely going to give the Bloodhound Fang a try and believe me I will use summons for sure! I got into a groove with that fight and honestly forgot summons are a thing for a while lol

It is very cool to watch you play, you def ''overflow'' the cozy vibes to the game and i would love to watch you more, i want to assure you that all the struggles you face, every single person that play a souls game for the first time goes through the exact same thing, you are doing amazing. that moment right there in 33:30 is the reason people play this kind of games, even with the struggles, frustrations and anger, the feeling of overcoming an obstacle and achieving that victory is extremely reinvigorating and addictive may i add. And with every win, your confidence in your abilities will increase exponentially and will notice a big shift in your play style.

Really enjoying your playthrough. A helpful tip, when you see the ghostly looking grave stone on the left side of the screen that let's you know you can use one of your Spirit Ashes to summon a creature. Should be helpful for some bosses or encounters.

@@thebrockstargames I don't know if you're learning fast or you just have a knack for it. either way, the game is just very hard and unforgiving,. And for a brand new player, you've adapted very well to the fact that you need to play defensively and reactively.

Hit those fire pillars and they go down, sword, arrow or darts Bloodhound fang is a good sword, level it up

Had no idea about the pillars! That’s good to know. My boyfriend just informed they sometimes have stuff hidden above them, too. And I’m debating the Bloodhound Fang. It does seem really cool so I’ll give it a try at least.

I used to watch gaming lets plays all the time when I was younger, but the way it seems like all lets players are screaming all the time turned me away from it as I got older. I usually just watch ASMR anymore, this is such a nice middle ground for me and you have no idea how happy I was opening this video and realizing you were softer spoken :,) thank you

I didn’t think you could win the bloodhound fight by blocking. I ended up just dodging attacks. Pretty cool to see a new player improve in real time. Mine was the tree sentinel fight.
