We have a small modern farmhouse being built. It's finally about dried in. I'm going to film it once We get in and I decorate. I am working on project to decorate with that will fit our style, However, I am really looking forward to you decorating your farmhouse, Amy! Much bigger than ours but our kids are grown with families of their own. This house is pretty too!

What a pretty home tour! You definitely have similar tastes. I also appreciate the music you chose. So many videos have loud songs that I have to mute the whole thing. You do a good job of editing and piecing in the close ups as well. Can’t wait to see the new house!

I have always put stuff above my cabinets since I had cabinets to put stuff above. I have often wondered why people quit doing that. Her home is beautiful and she has great taste. Thanks for showing us.

Putting stuff above the cabinets is an individual choice. My sister does not like the look of things above the cabinets, but I on the other hand do, as long as it's not cluttered. And it also depends on how much space their is between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling. One friend told me that she doesn't do it because of all the dust that accumulates on her things😄

@@patrinacopeland265 yes it is an individual taste. But 20 or 30 years ago just about everybody did it. And in most of these homes tours now they don’t. I just wondered why it just seems to have gone out of style now. But it sure is a lot less stuff to clean, that is for sure.
