Cozy MK IV departs Oshkosh 2021

This one makes you feel all Cozy! The Cozy is a 3/4 passenger canard based heavily on the Rutan VariEze and LongEze series. It fills a gap between the smaller Rutan aircraft and the larger and more advanced Velocity Aircraft (another canard in heavy presence at Oshkosh Airventure)

WOW long ground run compared to my Cozy IV. Over 20 seconds to lift off. See my Cozy depart: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXqZoISPn6eVh6c . I do have 200 HP and a Hertzler climb prop that makes 2600 RPM static. My takeoff roll is about the same as landing. I may cruise a bit slower but I get > 165 kn. @ 6.5 GPH.
