Hopefully this video can be a distraction for anyone who has had a hard week. Remember to take care of yourself, put the phone down, take a break from the doomscrolling and pick up a cozy hobby or get outside for some fresh air. It's okay to be mad, sad and grieve if the results of the election were not what you thought they'd be. The entire world has been impacted by this election and to those wondering why other countries are talking about it, it's because we care. I'm sending my love to all of you💙🫶🏻

It's on my to buy list for December - which is when I basically buy out my Amazon wishlist! My favourite book this past month was Hour of the Witch. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to stomach it cuz the beginning starts off with male on female violence and I was like ughhhh... but it ended up being such a wonderful book. Also got through some other five star reads as well... The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and The Spellshop (which was just so wholesome, heartwarming and WONDERFUL).

I love seeing your budget spreadsheets! Is business pay from KZbin and sponsors? And if there is left over from business funds, does it go to a separate business account?
@CarterSullivan3 күн бұрын
@@athenaa yes correct, it's the distribution I pay myself from my company (which is social media). This is not the total amount that I'm making a month from social media this is just what I choose to pay myself. Since I have a registered business, all of my payments (Adsense & brand deals) flow through a business account (not my personal accounts). From here I put money aside for corporate taxes, pay my business bills, pay off my business credit card and then decide if I want take a distribution. I don't have to take a distribution since I'm not salaried through my business, just if I want to. So what I pay myself from the business is more so the leftovers. Hope this makes sense!

The side of your hair that falls is probably because you have a slight side part so there is less hair on that side, therefore less volume and when it falls it is more apparent - try curling that side more than the other initially rather than touching it up when it falls. You’re trying to give that side more volume and texture to make up for a little less hair on that side. Hope this helps 😌

Thank you for this!! I tried that too and using hairspray but nothing seems to help🤣

When doing your budgeting, how do you separate your personal spending from your joint spending? For example: the amount for your mortgage is that your individual contribution amount? What about for groceries? Do you have a joint budget amount? Does my question make sense? 🤣
@CarterSullivan4 күн бұрын
The amounts that I budget off are solely my spending since my husband and I have separate finances. So this is my half of the mortgage, utilities and those are the bills that we split! We just take turns paying for any sort of variable expense- sometimes I buy groceries, sometimes he does. I'll pay for take out one week he'll pay the next. We kinda just trade off and it's what works best for us! We keep it very casual!

Hi Carter, I would recommend you watch with an open mind Brett Cooper's video here on KZbin of why she voted for Donald Trump. While I do not like him as a person, I know he will help get America back on its feet.
@CarterSullivanКүн бұрын
@@elizabethmiller5924 thanks for sharing this! I've actually already watched her video and it was an interesting watch- I've done plenty of research into both parties policies since both parties will impact Canada and our economy tremendously. Like anything it's important to see both sides and educate yourself. I think there were plenty of qualified Republican candidates who could have run that have basic decency for human lives and could have handled a peaceful transition of power. I personally just do not agree with the majority of his policies for America and as a Canadian sadly most of his policies will make our economy worse with tariffs. But yes I do think you have to be able to go into researching both sides with an open mind and hearing out what others have to say. At the end of the day I just hope everyone who voted made an educated vote and actually took the time to research policies. For example, the biggest misconception is that Trump will improve the economy but the US is currently facing a shitty economy because of the aftermath of Trump. The reason Trump's economy was good was because Obama had set it up and also a global pandemic. I mean I learned about basic economics in high school. So I just hope people took the time to educate themselves before saying I voted for ___ because of ____.

While I do understand this (and it's why I kept the mention of it very brief) I also think it's important for ME to use my platform to share support on issues that are important to me. Did you know the majority of people on Instagram replying to my story about how the election affects Canada & the world's economy had NO idea? So by sharing and advocating on my platforms I was able to give perspective on how major this is and I think that's a win. If you follow me you would know I am extremely passionate about women's rights. This US election had major implications on not only women but the middle class citizens, LGBTQ community, immigrants and so many more. So yes I will keep the politics talk at a minimum on KZbin because long-form content is an escape for many people right now but if it makes you uncomfortable that I even bring it up this may not be the channel for you and that's ok💙
@laurenmw96294 күн бұрын
Everything content creators do is political, including suggesting which companies you should support with recs. Just because someone mentions an election doesn’t mean their content is more or less political than it usually is.

I try to keep the book segments in chunks so the people who don't read can skip over but it's a big part of my life, always has been and always will be🤍 I know it may not be for everyone but as someone who vlogs her everyday life, books are a big part of that!

I try to keep the book chats in segments so the non-readers can fast forward but I get that it won't be for everyone 🤍
