i believe more for the cold season as it has a fleece inner lining. you can wear these in the summer but they would definitely feel a lot warmer than normal sneakers

i would suggest going TTS. its very roomy which is believe is how it should be. you dont want it to be too snug

i dont recommend to as they have a pretty insulating lining on the inside so its really warm

i believe they're not waterproof. i think they're the opposite of waterproof actually. the suede/leather'ish material wont wick off water.
