My kids love what I call Breakfast Rice. My grandma made it for me when I was a kid. You make the rice like normal and then in a bowl with the rice, add butter, sugar, cinnamon and milk. So good!!

I loved this whole cozy day sooo much!!! I’m like you, in our new-to-us house, one of my very favorite things is our wood burning fireplace. A real fire in the fireplace is so good for the soul!

We had some snow in NJ, but it was barely anything and has already melted. It was so sweet seeing Nora and Colin having such fun in the snow! ❄️❄️

I was very excited to see this video as I know snow isn’t that common there. Excited because as you several years ago, we too are moving from out of state (big city) and are house hunting in the smaller towns in north and east TX. The snow, change in weather, topography, and slower living is exciting to me. However with that, I know I’ll feel some BIG changes. I’ll definitely be leaning into your rooted series, for sure! This big city girl will need all the adjustment help she can get! 😊

We got the snowstorm here in Arkansas right after Texas. I usually love going out and enjoying the snow but I’m 37 weeks pregnant and just couldn’t be bothered to waddle out in it lol

We had snow here in the north west of England my 13 year old was in school for 1 day after Christmas break and then back off again. I'm hoping he's back in school on Monday as I have a presentation to do for my uni sociology class and there's no extension allowed for it and I don't think he wants to come listen to me talk about moral panics
