Very cool video Sharon. Loveed the zebra and giraffe heads. The wood shoe form was very cute, id never thought to do that, you are so creative! Yes, I think it is important not to be stuck on one type of product whether it be expensive or cheap. Being able to use multiple products to show creativity and style is a true artist in my humble opinion and that is how I want my channel to come across. I appreciate you noticing that!

These projects are quite different from anything I've seen on KZbin. The vintage style embellishments you find and keep in your "stash" are beautiful, very interesting pieces. All of these projects have inspired me to go thrifting to see what I can find to begin a new style of DIY's. 👓

I’ve been painting furniture for almost 15 years. I’ve noticed that most paints, chalk paint included, don’t really pull the tannins. However, any water based sealer (including Mod Podge) will. To stop this from happening, I either use a stain-blocking primer before I paint, or I’ll paint and then spray a coat of shellac before I move on to glazing or sealing the piece. I love how you flipped that little vanity box over and used the top instead of allowing those depressed areas stump you! It turned out beautifully! Great job! 😊
