One of those rebuilt SD45’s showed up in Binghamton just after they were rebuilt, they were great! They had air ride seats, and was a great puller!

Really a shame you could never get away with this today; and access to the west portal is blocked off by the sand company. Maybe with a drone you could get shots of the tunnel.

I’ve been back to the west portal multiple times. Just go to the east portal, climb OVER the tunnel through the woods, and then climb down. Sand plant can’t find you in there
