@LSUtiger6073 ай бұрын
@@MegaWhiteBeaner What I think is that there’s a concept in economics called “going out of business”. It’s cute that you assume all companies are profitable. Do you think an increase in taxes (costs) promote more or less successful companies? What happens to the employees of a failing business? Second, people and entrepreneurs with capital to invest will deploy that capital in jurisdictions and countries that offer the lowest costs. Do you think Nike manufacturers shoes in Asia because it’s more or less expensive to do so in the US? How many of those jobs are lost to Asia? That is what I think.
@JulieMoran18322 ай бұрын
The $25k first-time homebuyer tax credit will disappear when sellers and home builders increase the sales price an additional $25K. That's what happens when government gets involved. Unintended consequences. Look at the cost of going to college. The more federal aid people take to pay for college, the more costs to go to college go up. Increasing the minimum wage just increases the costs of goods, services, rent and everything! Increase the child tax credit to $6K for families with a newborn? That is dependent on income...what income? What is that number?? CPA's probably aren't going to like this but I think we need to overhaul the tax code. Make it a flat tax based on what you spend only. That gets rid of all the loopholes. It also encourages saving and forces government to budget like the rest of us do.

A good strategy would be to cash out of stocks at or before the moment of repeal of the favorable long-term gain tax treatment, and instatement of these taxes on unrealized gains, hold in cash until her 3rd year in office, then as the stock market would still be depressed by these taxes, purchase them back. The problem is when business pay more in tax, they increase prices to off set this or move over sea's which reverts the cot to the people who makes less than 400,000 so in reality is does not change anything but reduce the amount of American business this reduces the amount of jobs that will lead to a recession
@danielharvey5952 ай бұрын
Both of the candidates tax plans sound fair enough, but how about we look at the track records. I'm not going to say either way, but do your research. You should definitely look into who owns up to their promises.

Your telling me this guy is smarter than most economists who say Trump's plans will add trillion s to the national debt. No economist has backed Trump's economics plan
@aaronhughson2852 ай бұрын
The debt is high because spending is too high. Dave Ramsey says you need to get on a budget.
@Fette262 ай бұрын
How does it add trillions in national debt? You should watch his analysis on the trump tax plan. Where does all the money for the 25k down payment assistance and 50k business startup come from?

Well why doesn't she just say everything you just explained. I don't like assumptions. She needs to say she will keep or extend whats already in place then amd that shes adding to it.

I didn’t hear you mention the un-realized capital gains tax. You know the tax on pretend money you haven’t received. Such as your property goes up in value capital gain but you didn’t sell it but you have to pay taxes on those gains. Also there is no provision for capital loss.

This outline could be written every four years when the newly elected rush too pass legislation to cut taxes for the ultra wealthy and corporations that have made campaign contributions, or bribe money as I call it.

Funny how Kamala talks about a $25k home tax credit and a $50k Startup credit, but doesn’t explain where the funds for these programs will come from?
@joshua432143 ай бұрын
$25K credit for first time home buyers? This is classic smoke and mirrors, how many first time home buyers pay $25K in federal income tax? That is upper middle class in my area

For the low income to average income Citizen the Harris plan will have more positive long-term effects than the Trump plan. the Trump plan MAY provide more short-term benefit. You need to decide if you are better off with short-term planning or long-term planning before you vote.

Too bad it’s not well thought out. I’m a registered voter and none of her tax proposals apply to me. I already own a home. I’m retired. My kids are all grown. I don’t own a small business…. I’m not child bearing age🙆🏽♀️

These tax credits is a bunch of fluff and will only pertain to a few people . Not a tax benefit across the board like the 2017 tax changes that will expire in 2025. So, if the 2017 are not renewed taxes will go up across the board for everyone. Trump had the better plan especially for me who can take my social security in the next few years. As a bw living in NYC I’ll be voting Republican come Nov. Trumps plan everyone gets a break from taxes , that’s fair.

@teresaharrison66043 ай бұрын
Trump admitted to having a concept. I trust her more than a bitch ass man that begs poor people for money. Trump is running for president to save himself. America doesn't need him to save her. America needs saving from trump. America is not trump. We can and will survive without him.

I would happily pay a few extra bucks in taxes to help support programs that benefit the working class, as well as keep Trump from EVER setting foot on white house property again, and I'd also happily require all of you to spend the money as well. The benefits far exceed the costs in every possible way.
