Nidhi, information shared by u needs one correction. If u go for undecided jurisdiction evaluation next step after getting report is to apply for decided jurisdiction evaluation. So your cost would be $350+$250. I did my evaluation last year in October 2019. So this is my personal experience with NIES.

Hi, I'm Abhishek, currently I'm in CA final doing my articleship + Graduated from Delhi University and my CA exam will be in 2021... If I look current scenario, the CPA exam is going to be held in INDIA, as I'm eligible for CPA exam (having 120 Credit Points) but not for license... Should I start doing CPA as exam is going to held in INDIA (which will directly reduce my cost and major time) or Should I wait to complete my CA first ??? Hi Nidhi, it was quite an insight into the CPA course, good job. Like you, I am also a CA and plan to do CPA. Little confusion though as to where to start the registration. If I do go for Undecided territory option from NASBA, should I arrange for transcripts beforehand? And where to send them? Also if the answer to this is yes, and once NASBA sends me a list of options and I pick one, is my path clear to give exams the earliest when they are due (of course upon paying fees). In the 2nd part of my ques, I want to know if I can start studying upon sending the transcripts or wait until any of the 55 jurisdictions confirm my admission.

Ruju Desai depends on each state- they decide how they calculate credits. For Indian CA, it was about 60 credits when I applied. But a lot of states have stopped recognizing Indian CA now. Check each state’s requirements on their website.

Hey Nidhi, I have a question on the undecided jurisdictions. Did you mean that NASBA will evaluate my degrees and figure out the credits for each and every state? And so for example, my credits might just be around 135 for California while it could be around 150 for Alaska?

Hey I have done Bcom , Mcom and cleared IPCC (CA Intermediate level). My concern is that I am planning to take a break from CA Final and instead pursue CPA. I have following queries. Are there Job opportunites in India for Only CPA Qualified professionals? I want to know that what will be Salary package in India if I have done my CPA and not completed CA? Once I qualify as a CPA is it worth doing Indian CA or should i drop the idea of doing Indian CA once i qualify as a CPA or study any other professional course?

Salary depends on your field. But there are ample amount of jobs in India for CPA and ACCA. If you do not want to continue with CA, it's okay. Just make that decision after giving it a lot of thought.

Actually I have done a lot of research about this course and I have always come across people who have done CA and then completed their CPA. So I am of the concern that people with degree of CA+CPA will be getting more opportunities than me because I have not completed my CA degree. What is the scenario in the industry if you could help. And it is said that it is always preferable to do a local degree of the country you are living in. How much does it hold true for CPA?

I think u will get 150 credits.90 for b.com and 60 for m.com
