CPA and ACCA both are globally recognized courses and have a wide reach in India as well as abroad. You would have to take into consideration the pros and cons of each, and then take a call based on your personal preferences.

For me the major driver was the lesser number of papers in CPA, compared to ACCA. That was a motivating factor that with the right amount of time and effort, I could complete this certification with just 4 papers, within an achievable timeline.

The minimum requirement to sit for the exam is to have 120 credits, out of which 90 credits students in India typically get after 3 years of undergraduate course/degree. You can enrol for a masters degree while simultaneously completing your masters along with CPA and earn the remaining credits.
