Cauda equina syndrome is a spinal emergency that is hard to diagnose but that we cannot afford to miss. This webinar will help clinicians learn how to distinguish patients with cauda equina syndrome from among the million patients seen in Emergency Departments every year with low back pain.
David is a Clinical Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at the University of Oxford with a particular interest in high-risk clinical presentations. He was elected Hunterian Professor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020 and awarded an NIHR Advanced Fellowship in 2022 to deliver the Cauda Equina Syndrome Early Recognition (CESER) study.
