At the time of this presentation Box86 on RPi (32bit ARM) was making waves. Since this presentation Box64 (x86_64 on 64bit ARM) has appeared, and now Box86 (x86 on 32bit ARM) is the the prefered way to run Wine on ARM Linux (RaspberryPiOS amongst others).

Just a tiny bit too early, because if the talk was prepared few months later it would (probably) also include Apple M1 Rosetta 2 :D

I'd simply say a JIT system must or at any rate really really should not introduce any delay perceptibly longer than the un-JITted system would.
