CPR HERO 2023 - Louise Walton

British Heart Foundation (BHF) celebrated its 6th annual Heart Hero Awards on Wednesday 6 December 2023 at Glaziers Hall in London.
The annual awards recognised some of our CPR Heroes who demonstrated incredible courage and bravery by attempting to save a person’s life from cardiac arrest by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR.
While leading a school assembly, Jolie collapsed due to a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
Colleague and friend, Louise performed lifesaving CPR on Jolie for six to seven minutes in the classroom until the paramedics arrived.
Jolie nominated Louise as her CPR Hero, as without Louise’s swift intervention Jolie wouldn’t have survived to see her young daughter grow up.
