Thank you Joey Dog! We are trying to put out one per week, which is a lot of work, but we are working on simpler ways of creating these without braking the bank or mind so we can bang them out and supply our customers with some hopefully good content. Thank you for noticing.

Perfect timing! I needed this video to remove the tank and track down a coolant leak. Probably a loose hose clamp. Also one of my welded on nuts to a tank bolt came loose so now I can fix that too. This video is so well made and easy to follow. Thanks!

Love that! All we hope to do is help with these videos and I’m glad it did. We put one out every week and it all just depends on what we have going on and what we can film.

These instructions worked perfectly!! Tank is off the bike. Thanks. Not mentioned but I did clip one small cable tie on lower left side of the tank holding the fuel lines and wires together.

Could you do a video on how to tighten all the hose clips for the coolant. Cause apparently the one behind the rad is tight ti get to but can all be done without striping the bike down.

Atleast the radiator reservoir fill cap makes sense on the Norden! On my 790 its like what were they thinking!!! 790 tanks is way more quick to take off tho..

Is there any differences to the 890 Adventure? Can’t find a specific video for that one

Excellent video many thanks. I have a brandnew 901 expedition and I want to run a USB cable from the handlebar to the battery. Will I be able to run the cable in a secure position by just removing the bodywork or do I have to dismantle the fuel tank to find some space? Best regards Klaus

Awesome!! I wonder if their will be an after market bigger tank for this. Think I'm going to wait a bit to see what is going to happen with this bike...

Have to agree with comments about Chris doing great videos. Chris, what is the plan with the new 1290... this is something I am sweating on here in AUS. Please give us some idea what the plans are, so that the rest of us can plan our purchases from you.

Great video. I am trying to decide between this bike and the Africa Twin. I think this bike is great except I keep seeing comments on quality issues specially on coolant leaking. It would be great to see a video on to check to ensure that if someone has this bike what should they focus on.
@gordmounce611211 ай бұрын
Not sure if it's still relevant for you, but the coolant issue with 890s and 901s was related to some loose clamps caused (I believe) by some settling in the hoses after they've been run for a while. The solution; tighten the clamps. You only need to do this once. Loving my Expedition so far btw. Hopefully you're on a new 901 or AT by this point! Both great choices.

On that fuel line that connects to the throttle body, is there any wiggle in that hose after it’s locked in
@RottweilerPerformance Жыл бұрын
Yes, the connection will be sealed just fine but can 'float' a little in and out. Not to worry if this is in fact what you are talking about.

Hi, I’m looking at getting the new Husky Norden 901- I took one out and found the gear change selecter lever was set very high.i had to move my foot off the peg to snick a new gear rather than rotating my ankle up/down. With it fitted with a QS how to you lower the selecter lever to personalise it to yourself. A lot of bikes gear levers are clamped around a spline into the gearbox - I couldn’t ascertain if this is the same on the 901
@RottweilerPerformance2 жыл бұрын
Jon, there are a couple of ways. The spline method is still possible on that bike but because it’s not directly shifted (like a dirt bike) it’s in a different spot up on the lever on the engine. You can remove that small 6mm bolt and move the lever one way or another. You can even go to GP shift on the Duke in seconds by reversing that same lever. In your case, you can start there and use the splines for larger height changes, and then use the tie rod style adjustment on the push/pull rod for finer adjustments until it is perfect for you. That is the one big advantage of linkage style shifting, you have a lot of control over adjustments and ratios.

Wow and I thought my 1190 was bad…. At least there’s really no reason to remove this one.
@RottweilerPerformance2 жыл бұрын
That really depends on your needs. I would say this one is much easier than a 1050-1290 once you get to know it, but neither are difficult if you know what to look for.
