Perceval is the most difficult role in this game, His speed is slow, also his attack area is short, but he is a powerful knight. so I cannot make it without Heavy attack, so this time with on limited, after so many times fail, finally I got it, but it didn't looks good...everyone can tell from the video, there were so many times almost die, but finally depends on the good lucks, I win!

Absolutely amazing! I agree that Percival is harder to control but to NOT die not even once is so awesome. I love how you beat the Japanese boss and how you managed to stay one step ahead of the last boss by constantly moving around. Any decent individual would have easily died in those moments. The reason he didn't get the 2up was to prove how awesome he was! To show he never died. He started the game with 0 lives and ended with 0 lives! I am impressed! It took me 5 quarters to beat it @ arcade

24:43 All these years and I still don't get why he suddenly changes from a blonde bowl cut into a bald guy with a brown beard. Even his upper body musculature changes, it's like he's a whole different person. So weird, and he's the only character that does this.

Heavy attacks increase chances of item drops. Splitting larger items (food, treasure) gives more points to a single player than picking up a large item. More points means faster level up.

i can finish game without dead just for arthur or lancelot character .Greath game man. I remeber this game when i was young we love this game and everybody waching when somebody was able to finish game just for one coin :D

I've always loved the music in this game. BTW, the only time Perceval's speed is noticeable as a weakness is when you go up against Bird Man. They are the only enemies in the game that are capable of hitting Perceval in the middle of his attack string. They can't do that to Art or Lance.

Oddly enough, whenever I play this game, I have the most trouble using Arthur. Percy, Lance and Art in that order for me. Arthur for some strange reason seems like he has the shortest reach to me. But yeah, I love Perceval's foot speed and damage. I don't jump much so that's not a problem and I also don't experience any disadvantages to being mounted with him. I don't like how he goes bald though at higher levels lol. I do like how he gets a laser pointer on his axe for splitting foreheads.

I don't agree with the description at all. Parceval is the best by far. He is the only one that can run, his walk speed is much faster than the others, his block backup move is the best and his attacks albeit slower than Lancelot's are very easy to time properly and have the highest damage. His only weakness is the lack of air attack and his low reach when on the horse. My favorite character.
