Hey Steve happy new year. Love the 6.0 content and hope to see more

Hell yeah, I love 6.0s as crazy as they are, they are a fascinating engine with a lot of obviously niche problems and I'd love to see you work on them on your channel.

Why are people not running 5 inch exhaust? My 99 7.3 and my LLY both have 5 inch exhaust
@CPSteveMiller2 күн бұрын
Just don't see it much unless you're on social media. If you're out in public, most people run a 4". I love the 5" and will never go back to a 4.
@stevepartridge752 күн бұрын
@CPSteveMiller gotcha. I live in nw Iowa. Not many people have 5 inch here. I guess I chocked it up to more cost upfront.

Happy new year Steve another great way to start out the new year is watching your videos!!! Sounds good with new exhaust

Happy New Year to you and your family. If you want to quiet down your truck, put a compound turbo setup on it. Lots of fun to drive. Plus, it's great for towing.
@CPSteveMiller2 күн бұрын
Way too quiet 😂 I prefer a vgt so I can switch from a rumble or hiss tune

You gotta make sure the 4 digit pin is programmed with that new pcm on the dodge and the key will work. Your supposed to get that before you take the old pcm out but oh well
@bikerdie67902 күн бұрын
mopar PIN code
@CPSteveMiller2 күн бұрын
That key didn't work with the old pcm either. There's a lot more to this story than just what we see in these videos. The reason for the pcm was because a lot of the outputs were fried, such as the lift pump control.

What’s your opinion about Dave’s Auto center, NO idling , my 05 Cummins is not very happy unless you warm it up in freezing temps.
@CPSteveMiller2 күн бұрын
I know his comment was mainly focused towards def and egr trucks, however, for warming up, I wouldn't recommend 15 to 30 seconds like he stated. If it's under freezing, I give Bertha about 3 minutes(until the grid heater stops), and every 10 degrees under freezing I'll add a few minutes. I've never done over 10 minutes of warm up if I'm starting the truck to go. There's been times when I'm sleeping in the cab that I'll just start the truck and run it for a few hours(never driving it). On the def and egr trucks, I don't like them idling unless it's the same warmup procedure, but that's it. I've idled my 06's and previous 04 for 10+ hours before. On the pre emissions trucks, they can idle all day and night.

So how fo you like towing with that 3rd gen? I have been thinking of getting me one but now they are to old to finance mostly.
@CPSteveMiller13 сағат бұрын
For me, it's the perfect setup. New enough to be comfortable and roomy but not too new to where there's so much that can go wrong. I have a lock up switch which makes it even better.
