The instructor has been there for a long time and wasn't really a hands on instructor when I attended the Culinary Arts program. As a student our day usually consisted of a group session in the dining room and then off to the kitchen where we were left alone to cook either the daily topic, download a recipe off the internet or randomly cook whatever we wanted using the ingredients available. In the end I really only learned knife skills and anything else could have been taught for free from KZbin University.

Hey I have a question, how long was your program length meaning were you in the culinary arts program for 2 years or 3 years? I’m curious because I’m heading to cptc this fall for culinary arts and I want to learn how long I’ll be in the program. Thanks

It’s a technical college you need to have hands on not thee instructor
