I have been watching KZbin for more than a decade, just over half my life, and I have never genuinely been impressed by the editing of a video. Sure, I’ve taken note of good editing but I’ve never seen a video and at the end been most blown away by the editing. The references to the music, the simple but effective boss display, the cutaways to commentary by the two of you. You are a legend. Please keep at this. I actually came across the “hoik” or as I called it the “twang” back in 2012 when I made a huge block of dirt and went crazy hammering all the side into triangles. I found that I was able to partially stand inside the dirt block, but it was only after hammering all of them in a sequence was I able to pass through the wall. I still have fond memories of the pre-pylon and wormhole potions days where me and my friends would construct and frakishly large “Twang way” as we called it, way up in space to let us travel insane distances in basically no time. Yes the steampunk had teleports and wires, but it felt more earned finding this glitch and making something we thought not many people knew about - learning so many people also knew about it but under a different name was a very unique experience that I’ve never felt since.

Fishing god here - Angler rewards best rod and best bait in game. Fishing in sky islands results in fletchling wings pre hard mode. Lavaproof bug net into lavaproof fishing hook and you have superheated blood, a mount with insane speed in water and lava. Uzi + superheated blood+ queen slime armor + luck = good enough for duke fishron. Shrimpy truffle plus rain used to be the fastest combo in game ( not sure if its still true in 1.4.4), and is one of the most reliable things for outrunning moon boi and his lasers.

For those who are wondering about the millisecond long text at the end of the twitter bit says, i managed to pause it at the right time and got it. It says: "Alright, hear me out: I never use dashing accessories in terraria. That's why the shield is so revered, right? The early game dash is powerful for evading boss attacks. However, outside of combat, the dash can be quite annoying. I found it so while trying to build way back in 2015. So, i unequipped the shield, and never looked back. Put simply, over the past 7 years, ive learned to dodge in terraria without a dash. Im far too used to a linear moveset in order to make use of a dash, especially now that ive 1cc'd a few touhou games. On normal! Who do you think i am??"

I haven't watched the video yet, but I bet the answer is yes. With each of these Terraria challenge videos, the answer is always "yes, if you have enough skill and patience". And that's the amazing thing. Terraria is such a flexible game. The interesting thing is not seeing IF it's possible, but seeing the unique and extreme strategies people use to complete the challenge.

Shield of Cthulu is the best early game accessory I will throw hands over this. That thing is fused to me the moment Eye of Cthulu dies all the way till the post-Plantera dungeon where you can finally get the Tabi and combine a dash and a dodge chance item into the Master Ninja Gear which is just objectively better. That being said, *Post Plantera* items being the earliest point that the Shield of Cthulu is dethroned is amazing for an item dropped by the 2nd easiest boss in the game. The sheer utility of a Dash can never be understated. It is an item that provides amazing benefit for both traversal of the world and combat, as it provides a small amount of defense from the item itself and the dash is able to instantly get you up to top speed, reverse your direction of movement instantaneously, and give you the small burst of speed you need to dodge whenever a boss charges at you, not to mention that it gives you invulnerability frames whenever you slam into an enemy. Mobility is king, end of story.
