CPW to discuss citizen petition to stop wolf reintroduction

Recently CPW euthanized a mountain lion. See the news station clip and use their words against them. It's okay to euthanize a mountain lion instead of relocating it for taking down wildlife but not a wolf? So what makes the wolf better than the mountain lion? If the wolves were supposed to survive here without human intervention they would have been in the mountain lions have survived very well.
