I plan to start using DartSoft in the future for mostly personal reasons, due to the immediate "oh you mean like the toys" response most people give when I tell them I play Nerf. Glad to see some more sentinel action! Bangarang!

The term DartSoft is probably the first time I will disagree with Justin. Sounds like what we do is airsoft-light. Blaster Tag is what we actually do.

I'm conflicted as well, but Justin was convincing enough for me to give it a shot. I'm fully in agreement with you that I feel like the specific mention of "soft" will automatically make us seem like a neglected step-child of airsoft. At the same time, connotation is immensely valuable. I'd be very interested in hearing/seeing interviews with people on the street and what their reactions are to each name separately. The only reason why I'm interested in giving this a shot is because this how I imagine people will react: "Nerf" - Related to the kids toy brand. "Blaster Tag" - Something related to space or maybe a new version of lazer tag "DartSoft" - Something related to airsoft, but not Out of all of those, I think the lesser of all evils is the subtle suggestion that we are less than airsoft. Honestly? I think that's always been the case and I think that it always will be the case. Airsoft exponentially has more search traffic and volume than we do. Nerf has made clear that they don't want anything to do us hobbyists and is literally giving that market to one of their competitors. Nerf has been very blunt - they make toys for kids' experiences and imagination. That is not who we are. Ultimately, I'm conflicted, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

In countries like Australia and China where airsoft is illegal, a new sport has been coming out that is similar but shoots water beads. They call it Gelsoft. I have no issue also calling what we do Dartsoft. They are less painful equivalents of paintball, hence the "soft".

WOW such a better video than the last with the cuts and the length of the video nice 👍 one little thing I’d do to probably save on stress or hours on edits is to take out Aldoss did that with this it’s just like yeah we know we just saw you shoot the enemy or we saw you grabbed the adjective. If anything maybe leave it but move it to the side like how games do for example cod or halo were the kill feed is on the side. And one last thing is when you are refreshing on ammo because you got out don’t make the screen blurry and red maybe just add a blood filter but not make it all blurry it’s painful to watch. Just some extra ideas you can use but other than that fantastic job on quality and cuts of the video loved it.👍 Continue that path!

Whats your sentinel shooting fps ?

Averages 115-120fps. I'm gonna switch out the stock spring with a 9kg retal spring and see what happens.

Do you think there should be music throughout the whole video? I used to do that and stopped because I liked that it was more immersive that way. It also makes musical additions that much more noted, like when I added music to the end of this video.

@@Aldoss I just recently started adding music to all of my videos the whole way through. But it was just in the background so it wasn't very loud. I think you should add music in your videos, but don't make it very loud. I was just wondering if there was a specific reason, and if I should add music yo my videos to not.

Yeah. Sort of specific. When you add music, the video becomes about the music. If someone is watching your video because they like nerf and like the gameplay, but maybe they don't like the particular song being used, they might click away because it's no longer enjoyable. I want people to want to watch my videos for the nerf first and then stay because it's entertaining.

Here's my thought: make videos that you like watching. What happens after no longer matters and if you like what you created, then you've done something worthwhile. If you decide to add music because you think it will get more views and it doesn't, now you've created something that you will inherently despise because you can't watch your own video anymore and disassociate it from the poor KZbin performance. I like the videos I create. It's time we'll spent for me. I'd do it regardless of whatever pitiful money each video makes through KZbin. Luckily, I'm not you haha. Explore and experiment with each new video you make. Find what you like and see if it's what other people like too. That's gold right there.
