I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the graphic equaliser at the top of the table which reflects the game's audio output (at the very least, the music). Also, whilst you don't get the licensed songs during normal gameplay, you can't really miss them on your way to completing the game - Dr. Feelgood in the bonus stage, Live Wire at the final boss and Home Sweet Home after completion.

@stephandolby Thanks for noticing! It was a quite a bit of work to get that all working properly!

I'd imagine that this came out while Motley Crue were still promoting the "Decade of Decadence" compilation, a mix of hits and a few songs that had been recorded for that release.

CrüeBall was one of my father's favourite games on the Mega Drive - even though we had a huge collection of Mega Drive games (incl. several yellow flags - aka the EA modules) - my father only played CrüeBall if he turned on the MD.

Gerjet Berger, so what happened with the Mega Drive and games? Do you still have it?

The console itself is still in my posession and I still play on it from time to time (my muscle memory is pretty influenced by PAL - so that I can play Sonic 1 perfectly on 50 Hz. but fail hard in 60 Hz. rereleases) - sadly I made the mistake and sold most of the games during the Dreamcast/N64 era.... I rebought some games I enjoyed most, like Soleil ("Age of Centry" in NTSC regions)

I love pinball and loved his. I think all pinball games you mentioned (ac/dc, Metallica etc.) all came out years later. There was an old ‘kiss’ and an old ‘the who’ machine though.

cool dude. I realize there probabley is less interest in the tg16. I only knew one person growing up who had one. BTW you can play pc engine games on a tg16 with an everdrive (pc engine has about 700 games compared to the tg16 70 games)

Shinobi still looks amazing but Bonk hasn't aged well.

Bruh, the Crüe were huge back then. And remained so up until they retired 2 years ago. Radio play means nothing these days. Even then. If a band is selling out arenas world wide, that’s a huge band. You should do a little research next time.
@SNESdrunk6 жыл бұрын
Here's the research: Crueball came out in 1992. Vince Neil *left the band* in February of 1992. They hadn't released an album in over 3 years. They were not huge in 1992.
@cyborgroxx3 жыл бұрын
@@SNESdrunk but they really were huge in 1992. I don't care what the research says. Cheesy alternative rock didn't start it's full blown take over until the second half of 1993. Vince leaving the band was huge news. Decade Of Decadence was released at the end of 1991. The logo from that compilation album was used on the cover of Crue Ball. EA probably started developing the game in 1991. I get that you might not like their music. I'm assuming you're a 90's rock fan and 90's rock fans tend to be very pompous when it comes to music from the 80's (I don't know why? The 90's were all crappy garage bands), but the Crue honestly were popular in 1992. Even in the beginning of 1993 when Vince released his solo album.

I’m sure there are some great video pinball games, but personally I prefer to play pinball in real life. You just can’t replicate that feeling. However, with the Nintendo Switch’s “HD Rumble” might actually do a good job of replicating real pinball.

Dude, you really need to start looking at who were the devs and the publishers. Sega had nothing to do with the game nor the endorsement. You're whole segment about endorsements was out of place since it was EA's decision's, not Sega...

In my opinion, first 2 album were raw, fast, and the heaviest albums, the next 2 are hit and miss Hair Metal, Dr. Feelgood felt like a good mix of Hair and Heavy Metal, and the rest are garbage trying to do Alt Metal and Industrial.
