It just took me 2 hours to make my ferret pro work wirelessly on my MacBook air m1. At 67, once tech savvy, almost had me in tears . Next 3d printing I’ll get the Bambu A1, hope it’s simpler to setup.

Yeah we bought the lizard, now I'm looking at selling that and getting the ferret. This looks way better, especially for textures.

They released the Otter and Raptor now. Bought the Raptor. Really impressive hardware. Software is bare minimum and unstable.

Good video. Just got a Ferret scanner. Trying to learn it. Im scanning a model toy jetski and it keeps picking up surrounding stuff, im using a black sheet under it and it still picks it up. Also the model is shiny so I used dry shampoo to dust it and the scan makes it look like its got paint running/dripping down.

You can combine the clouds in the app from multiple scans, is it better to do them in Zbrush?

These aren't really small objects...Pls try to scan something no larger than an inch

2:48 Min recommended size for a part is 15x15cm. Yeah it’s not a scanner for small objects.

These are medium-sized objects, small ones are less than 10 centimeters. And the real test for scanners are objects 5 centimeters or less.

Anything under 300 mm is considered small object.
