CR14DE - Nissan Cube Stalls on Start Rough Idle

I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. use royal purple oil filter also change the serpentine belt every 80 000 miles to be safe. If your cube is 2014 or older change the wiper arms. The spring becomes weak over time and dont put the right amount of pressure on the wipers to work correctly........

I have a 2004 Nissan cube cr14 engine......I'm have problem starting.....the mechanic told me that the cam sensor and the crank sensor need to change....is the any other sensor that can be use in my cube.....bcuz I'm having difficulty getting back the original sensors......I'm living in Jamaica.... Your advise will greatly appreciated

my cube is very low in mile age... it runs smoothly and no rough idle but it seems to run 8.5km per letter of gasoline or 20mpg city drive is that okey?

johny i have the same engine in my micra k12 and i have this problem. when the engine is cold and you start moving with a 1ist or 2ond gear (without hiting the gas) it hops ReALLY HARD. engine bases are new and still doing that. any suggestions ? have you meet this problem before?

Do you mean it hops when changing from 1st to 2nd? Could be low on transmission fluid.

Great video had something similar with my z11, but my problem was base idle was too high copied exactly what you did re cleaning throttle body (was carboned up) put back together now it is hunting between 1400 to 900 darn. Have tried to do manual idle throttle body reset but dont seem to be able to activate relearn ie no flashing check light. Is this a problem that can be resolved???

Some say k12 and cube throttle bodies shouldn’t be cleaned by hand just pray will do

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is on this engine? I think its an inline one so probably under the body?

From memory its an all in one unit in the fuel tank.

Hi. I have same problem. Rough idle then dies. Clean throttle body. Problem persist. Codes resolved. What else could be the problem? Does cr14de have egr? Location? Thanks.

My z11 cube drives and intermittently stalls most time starts but of late towed home what’s strange the car isn’t cold yet it stalled same time blue light turns on It hesitates and runs like shit most times once it stalls It’s weird as sometimes can go weeks without stalling some days it happens multiple times daily Others she will go to start and not start Others she will start and keep going Then 5 times towed home Then will randomly start next day Oh and had it happen 2 times going in limp mode I’ll stop car and turn off and start and it will go No check engine lights btw
